Junior Sous Chef

Job Type: Full-time – circa 43 hours per week

Salary: £29k – £33k per year – depending on experience

We have been trading now for 21 years. The kitchen has gone through recent renovation’s, that include some of the latest cooking technology, to help the brigade satisfy customer demand and develop the menu. We have undergone the introduction of new chef rota patterns that provide a great work life balance for all our brigade.

We are looking for a Junior Sous chef to join our professional brigade. This role requires working alongside the other senior chefs and reporting directly to the Head Chef, to assist in managing all aspects of a high quality, busy, fresh food kitchen. We have lots of staff with over 15 years service and this is testimony to a great team at the Dial.

– All staff have Christmas Day and New Years day off

– Assist in maintaining all food safety and quality standards

– support the running of the day to day workings of a busy commercial kitchen

– Ability to follow all food safety, H&S and hygiene standards

– Exceptional food quality standards

– Exceptional food preparation standards

– Exceptional presentation quality

– Working as part of a large brigade

– Ability to work in a tidy, organised a clean environment
